Then, we analyze job market trends to determine where people are being left behind and resolve that through education, economic empowerment and health & fitness programs.

Position Summary

The Marketing & SEO Manager enhances our online presence, expands our reach, and amplifies our impact through strategic marketing and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO best practices, and setting direction for our digital channels to effectively engage our target audience and achieve our organizational goals.

Position Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with our nonprofits's mission, goals, and target audience
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify and understand audience demographics, preferences, and online behavior
- Create and manage engaging and informative content for our website, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns
- Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve website search engine rankings, drive organic traffic, and increase visibility
- Analyze website traffic, user engagement metrics, and campaign performance to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Manage and optimize our online presence across various digital channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and search engines
- Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective
- Collaborate with internal teams, including program staff, development, and communications, to ensure a cohesive marketing approach
- Liaise with external partners, such as marketing agencies and web developers, to coordinate and oversee marketing initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing and SEO, preferably in a nonprofit setting
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, and SEO tools
- Creative and innovative thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for our mission and values
- Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies
- Experience in conducting in-depth market research and analyzing audience data
- Experience in creating and managing engaging and informative content for various digital channels
- Experience in implementing and managing SEO strategies to improve website search engine rankings
- Experience in analyzing website traffic, user engagement metrics, and campaign performance
- Experience in managing and optimizing an organization's online presence across various digital channels
- Experience in staying abreast of emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive marketing approach

Important Notes

Reports to the Development Director
Must be:
- able to volunteer at least 8 hours per week
- passionate about our mission, values, and empowering others
- using a reliable computer and internet connection

IMPORTANT: It's vital that the nonprofit has access to all tools, resources, artifacts, etc. used in this position and stored in the nonprofit's cloud. Therefore, agreed upon web-based tools in the nonprofit's name (open source, free, commercial, etc.) must be used to ensure reuse and sustainability.
