We meet with students, young adults, families, employees, small businesses, and government agencies to learn what programs and services are needed. Then, we analyze job market trends to determine where people are being left behind and resolve that through education, economic empowerment and health & fitness programs.

Position Summary

The Events and Campaign Manager plays a crucial role in planning and executing engaging events and campaigns that promote our educational, economic empowerment, and health & fitness programs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness, attract new participants,

Position Responsibilities

- Develop and manage a comprehensive calendar of events and campaigns
- Create and execute engaging event concepts and materials
- Promote events and campaigns through social media, email marketing, and other channels
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and speaker coordination
- Track event attendance and engagement metrics
- Analyze event data to identify trends and improve future events
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure events align with program goals
- Develop and manage campaign budgets
- Write compelling campaign content
- Track campaign performance and make adjustments as needed
- Represent the nonprofit at events and community meetings

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and campaign management
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful events and campaigns
- Strong marketing and communications skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
- Passion for the nonprofit mission
- Experience with social media marketing
- Experience with email marketing
- Experience with graphic design
- Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus

Important Notes

Reports to the Administration Director
Must be:
- able to volunteer at least 8 hours per week
- passionate about our mission, values, and empowering others

IMPORTANT: It's vital that the nonprofit has access to all tools, resources, artifacts, etc. used in this position and stored in the nonprofit's cloud. Therefore, agreed upon web-based tools in the nonprofit's name (open source, free, commercial, etc.) must be used to ensure reuse and sustainability.
